Look for Wi-Fi icon or the network adapter icon on the taskbar. Right-click on it and select Open Network & Internet Settings. Step 2. Under Related Settings, go to Change adapter options. Step 3. Now, locate your Ethernet connection and right-click on it. Click on Disable. Step 4. Turn off your computer and remove the power cable from it.
This fixed my Unidentified Connection problem right away. Follow these steps (Windows 7): 1. Click on Start. 2. Click on the search bar at the bottom. 3. Type: msconfig. 4. Press Enter. 5. You should have a new window named System Configuration. 6. Click on the Services tab. 7. Scroll down the list until you find: Network Access Protection Agent.
